Last chance to buy tickets for the Media Society online discussion event: Trump v the Media.

The event is tomorrow, Tuesday March 25th. 6pm on Zoom.

It's an issue that keeps on developing. Just in the last two weeks, President Trump branded NBC News as ‘discredited’, accused the media of 'illegal reporting', and dismantled Voice of America.

What impact is this having on the press, TV news, and news agencies? And how should the media respond?

We’ve assembled an exceptional panel to discuss this:

  • Classic FM and former BBC Radio 4 'The World Tonight' presenter Ritula Shah (Chair)
  • ITV News Correspondent Robert Moore
  • Guardian US Columnist Margaret Sullivan
  • Media Mix host Claire Atkinson.

The event will be introduced by Nigel Dacre, the President of the Media Society.

You will be able to engage directly with speakers through our Q&A session. Submit your questions in advance when booking or participate during the event.

Tickets £10, students free. Book via Eventbrite.
