Would you like to be a mentor? The Media Society is now inviting experienced media professionals to apply for its 2026 mentoring scheme, launching in May.
We’re looking for journalists, broadcasters, producers, editors, digital innovators, and media leaders who can share their experience and help guide the next generation of media talent.
As a mentor, you’ll be expected to meet your mentee at least four times a year (in person or on Zoom), offer insight, encouragement, and practical advice, and be part of a growing community that is involved with and celebrates the best of British media. Mentors will be given guidance and support during the scheme.
To learn more and apply, visit https://www.themediasociety.com/mentoring
Applications are now open, so do consider signing up, or please forward this email on to anyone who you think might be interested in becoming a mentor.
We will advertise for mentees to join the scheme in March.
