Less than a week to go to the next Media Society online discussion event: Trump v the Media.

It's next Tuesday March 25th. 6pm on Zoom.

The event couldn't be more topical - just in the last week, the new President refused to take a question from NBC News (saying they were a 'discredited organisation'), accused the media of 'illegal reporting', and dismantled Voice of America.

How should the media respond to this assault on the press, TV news, and news agencies?

Our panel is well placed to discuss all of this:

  • Former BBC Radio 4 presenter Ritula Shah (Chair)
  • ITV News Correspondent Robert Moore
  • Guardian US Columnist Margaret Sullivan
  • Media Mix host Claire Atkinson.

The event will be introduced by Nigel Dacre, the President of the Media Society.

You will be able to ask questions when you book a ticket, and during the event itself.

Tickets £10, students free. Book via Eventbrite.
