Join us for one of our special in-person Media Society events at The Conduit on Tuesday 9th June at 6.30pm – for a timely discussion on the podcast industry.

The discussion will look at whether there are too many podcasts, and what makes for a successful format. It will also look at what’s next for the podcast industry: the rise of video shows, evolving monetisation models, and how AI is reshaping production and discovery.

Our panel:

Adam Fleming - lead presenter of the BBC ‘Newscast’ podcast and host of the culture-focused ‘AntiSocial’ podcast.

Chloe Straw - Director of Operations at Goalhanger, the UK's largest independent podcast producer.

Nick Hilton - co-founder of the podcast production company Podot. Chief TV critic for the Independent. Producer of the Movers and Shakers podcast.

Ritula Shah (Chair) - currently with Classic FM. Formerly the main presenter of BBC Radio 4's flagship programme, The World Tonight.

The event is being produced in partnership with The Conduit.
