Join us for our Media Society debate next week on Zoom to discuss the rise of newsletters - and how they are changing the world of journalism and communication.
On Zoom - Wednesday April 30th 2025 at 6pm
Platforms such as Substack have transformed the email newsletter business - making it one of the biggest growing new media areas in recent years.
But how do you launch and grow a successful newsletter? Are we reaching a saturation point in subscriptions? And what about accuracy and fairness?
Our Panel:
- Stephen Bush - one of the most influential newsletter writers in the UK, and writer of the Financial Times Inside Politics newsletter.
- Doomberg - a newsletter published on Substack by a group of entrepreneurs, which has grown to become one of the most widely read finance newsletters.
- Charlotte Tobitt - the highly respected UK Editor at the Press Gazette, who has written extensively about the newsletter business.
The event will be introduced by the Media Society President Nigel Dacre.
You will be able to ask questions when you book a ticket, and during the event itself.
Book via Eventbrite. Ticket prices range from £7.50 for Media Society members to £15 for non-members. Free admission for Media Society Student Members.
