We have a strong line-up for the upcoming Media Society discussion about Migration and the Media. It's being held at The Conduit in Covent Garden next Monday, the 22nd September, from 6pm.

The debate will look at how the media shapes public opinion on migration, and the panel is:

  • Ritula Shah (Chair) - currently with Classic FM, and formerly the main presenter of BBC Radio 4's The World Tonight.
  • Rob McNeil - former newspaper journalist and now Head of Media and Communications at Oxford University's Migration Observatory.
  • Douna Haj Ahmed - a Syrian journalist, human rights activist and refugee living in London.
  • Andrew Harding - the BBC’s Paris Correspondent, who has reported extensively on European migration stories.
  • Nicola Kelly - journalist and writer. Author of ‘Anywhere But Here...'.

The event is being produced by Sue Ellis and Alex Sinker - and will be introduced by the President of the Media Society, Nigel Dacre.
